Hi foodies! This is my first post. I went to Megu last night for their Restaurant Week  Winter 2017 Dinner. For Restaurant Week, you can try fancy restaurants at an affordable price: Lunch – $29 or Dinner – $42 for 3 courses. It ends on February 10th.

Address: 355 West 16th Street New York, NY 10011

Cuisine: Japanese/Sushi

Pretty view to go downstairs to the restaurant:

Appetizer: Crispy Tuna Tartare – Sesame cones, arare, cilantro, avocado truffle. It was interesting and the presentation was unique.

In addition to the restaurant week menu, I also tried one of their sushi rolls. King Crab Yuzu Roll: King crab, avocado, Asian pear, tobiko, fresh yuzu juice.

Main Course: Sake Braised Short Rib – Seasonal mushroom, charred shishito, thai basil. The short rib was very good. I really loved the sauce and the mushrooms.

Dessert: Famous Matcha Crepe Cake

Overall, I liked it. The customer service was good and I loved the decor.
